For the longest time, since middle school actually, I have had one major problem that has always troubled me…my weight. So I finally decided that with the help of my family and friends that I am going to do something about it for real. I just started a new diet and exercise program yesterday and we got through the second day, which they say is the hardest.
Part of this program has been cutting out a lot of foods that I really shouldn’t be eating, take for instance things with sugar in them. Cupcakes, cookies, soda, etc. have always been a huge issue of mine. So when I was at work and I saw the cupcakes sitting there, they were calling to me. I did not answer, however, and walked away leaving them to sit on the counter. I have also cut out anything that is fried in anyway, deep or otherwise. This is extremely difficult because I am a potato chip-a-holic. I have gone two days now and have started to get over the urge to go down to my neighborhood sheetz and get a soda like I have so many times before, but I have found I don’t need those things. BTW this is really great for my money spending problem, no fast/greasy/sugary food=less spent at the store.
